The house is the centrepiece of a Grade II listed terrace originally designed by Sir Charles Freake. Overlooking Cranley Gardens and forming part of the prestigious Welcome Trust estate, it is one of Kensington & Chelsea’s most desirable garden squares. The client brief was to design a new interior for the main entrance reception, which had previously been stripped back to just a plaster and paint finish. Our designs included new timber panelling, furniture and fittings, full integration with existing services, to reset the initial perception of the house for arriving visitors.
